People for Animals-Ponda PFA-ponda...Our main aim to perform Animal birth control and eradicate Rabies and treat injured stray.

To date, PFA has constructed three animal shelters in Goa – the first, in Panaji in year 1999 (this shelter was taken over by the Corporation of the City of Panaji in 2002); the second, in Curti-Khandepar village, Ponda taluka in 2000 (this shelter was constructed on land leased to PFA by the government of Goa) and the third in Vasco in year 2002 (this shelter operates as the Mormugao Municipal Council animal shelter).

The dog was suffering from a cutaneous tumor.
Kudos to the Borim village Panchayat for covering the treatment costs 🙏"

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our team at P.F.A Ponda, Goa.
Responsibilities:
- Implement ABC (Animal Birth Control) programs in the Taluka
- Provide emergency care and treatment to stray animals
- Offer private pet treatment services to raise funds for the shelter.
- Perform surgeries as required, including amputations and tumor removals
- Monitor the shelter daily to ensure the health and well-being of the animals
Our Offer:
- Competitive incentives based on performance

- Cooperative staff
- 1 assistant and 4 helpers
- 2 admin staff for record-keeping, medicine management, salary administration, and other clerical tasks
