Clean water without ammonia and nitrite pollution promotes the well-being of all aquarium inhabitants - whether animal or vegetable. MasterLine Purity is a filter medium that dissolves organic substances from the water. The result: clear water, reduced algae formation and increased oxygen concentration. The effect intensifies the pearls of the plants.

To use the granulate in a bag - fill, rinse with water and put in the aquarium filter. A necessary change is of course indicated: If the MasterLine filter is loaded with organic matter, the colour of the granulate changes to brownish. The more polluted the water, the faster and darker the filter turns. If the colour is very dark, the filter should definitely be regenerated! To do this, place the filter bag in bleach for 24 hours. The bag should be turned over several times. Then rinse the bag well with clear water and soak it in water that has been treated with aquarium dechlorinator (10 to 20 times higher dose than in normal use) for a further 24 hours. Only when the chlorine smell has completely disappeared can the bag be used again.

The recommended amount of filter granulate to require fewer regeneration phases is 100 ml Purity per 100 litres of water.

Tip: A chlorine- and acid-resistant filter medium bag is recommended. MasterLine offers a bag specially developed for Purity, which protects the aquarium technology from leaking granules through high-quality processing.
