So you are thinking of getting a dog. Wow!! But wait, have you researched well enough? I have come across numerous dog owners who have been left clueless after getting a puppy home and some of them are not first time dog owners!!
A dog needs time, your time!!
You cannot just bring it home and expect it to live all day around in your house like a piece of furniture. It needs exercise, discipline and a lot of guidance from you.
So imagine, if you bring a puppy home and have no clue about how to bring it up, what do you expect from the poor chap. It will learn things and act on it's own will which will most definitely not be acceptable to you and then a lot of frustration and disappointment will follow.
So, do your research, talk to professionals, not friends who have dogs, assess your lifestyle and decide whether you really have the time to invest in bringing a dog in your life.
