At SNIFFERNITY we begin grooming puppies at 8 weeks of age with the recommendation that they have at least 2-3 rounds of puppy shots to help keep them safe when in the salon with other dogs. Getting your puppy started early is key to getting them used to the grooming process which makes it much easier on them and their Pet Stylist.

We also recommend visiting the salon between trims/baths to help your pup get used to all the sights and sounds. Stop in for a treat & greet with your Pet Stylist, or a quick touchup of the nails, brushing or trimming between visits. The more your pup visits the salon, the more comfortable they will be in it!

Mishka is all relaxed after we took off her dead fur. When you deshed your dog, you're helping them get rid of hair that will eventually end up on furniture and clothes. This will benefit your dog in many ways, making them more comfortable and keeping their coat and skin healthy.
