Amateur Riders' Club The Amateur Riders’ Club is the largest private horse riding club in India, located at the Mahalaxmi Race Course.

The Club provides professional training in all disciplines of equestrian sports like Polo, Show Jumping & Dressage. The only riding & polo club in Mumbai located in the heart of South Mumbai inside Mahalaxmi Race Course.

Our Story

The Amateur Riders’ Club is one of the oldest and largest private civilian horse riding clubs in India, located at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai. The Club provides professional training in all disciplines of equestrian sports like Polo, Show Jumping and Dressage.

The Club has 4 horse riding arenas including an internationally graded flood lit arena as well as a polo field at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. Amateur Riders, Club has been a vital part of the growth of equestrian sports and polo in Mumbai since the last 75 years. The curators of the Annual Mumbai Horse Show League featuring the best of Polo Tournaments, Show jumping and Dressage competitions, ARC takes pride in recognizing and enabling young and upcoming riders to pursue the sport in Mumbai.

Evolving with the international polo and equestrian world, we provide well trained club horses with the best coaches and equitation mentors from across the world and India to train potential upcoming athletes.
