Dr. Henna Ganjwala has completed her Bachelors in Veterinary Science from Bombay Veterinary College and Masters in Wildlife Medicine from Murdoch University, Australia. She has also done a course in wildlife medicine in South Africa and has worked with a wide range of birds, reptiles, large mammals and carnivores. She specializes in birds, turtles, tortoises, snakes, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and all kinds of Exotic animals.

Dental hygiene is probably one of my biggest pet peeves. Starting early and brushing teeth consistently is the only way.

This poor 8 year old Indie had maggots in her mouth. Her owner noticed she wasn't eating too well and there was a small lump in her mouth. We put her under to have a look and clean her teeth. This wriggly bu**er popped out while I was cleaning and gave me the creeps!! The maggots had also burrowed into her hard palate. Good news is that she's feeling much better now!

Brush your dog and cats teeth every day! Not once a month, not once a week. EVERYDAY!! Just like you brush your own.

Get regular dental checks done when you go for annual health checks to your veterinarian. Don't take dental health lightly. Dental disease is extremely painful. The invading bacteria can lead to heart, liver and kidney damage.

The main aim of this webinar is to help you identify early signs of illness 😷 so that your birds can get timely treatment before it's too late!
We will be discussing the common disease conditions we see and how we can prevent them 🏥🩺
This webinar is open to Bird owners, Veterinary Students and Veterinarians.
