is one of the oldest Student Organizations of the esteemed and renowned College - Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. Founded in 1969 as STC- Students Technician Chapter, & now affiliated to I.E. (I) [Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata], the student organization has evolved over the years to be known as S.C.I.E. (Students' Chapter of Institution of Engineers) today. The sole aim o

f the organization is to harness the talents of students & shape them up, mold them into competent personalities, by keeping an eye on their overall development which is of utmost necessity along with their studies. adheres to the College Vision, of grooming the students to make them, both, technically as well as intellectually competent. The Society serves the purpose of providing students with a platform to channelize their potentials along technical as well as intellectual lines. organizes technical and non-technical events throughout the session to enhance the technical and professional skills of the students. It aims at inculcating and promoting among engineers and technologists a growing commitment to the social objectives of the profession. The members make dedicated efforts to contribute in every possible way they can, to make the entire college experience worthwhile.

SCIE is organizing an expert session on zero defect manufacturing in association with IE Ludhiana local center on 28.3.2019 at 4.00pm in college consultancy Hall. The half hour session will be conducted by Er. Surinderbir Singh secretary cicu Ludhiana and a consultant on quality matters to industry. All volunteer, executive members of Scie are required to attend the event. The session will be followed by tea n snacks.

SCIE in collaboration with the Institution of engineers Ludhiana is celebrating world water day on 26.2.2019 at 4.00pm in college consultancy Hall. Attendance of all post holders, executive members and active members is compulsory and shall be monitored by faculty advisor.
