A rabbit was presented to Aarvi pet clinic & Pet store "diagnostic and surgical centre". He accidentally injured and a severe open distal tibial physeal fracture with complete tarsocrural (hock) luxation was found.

Surgical correction of this Salter-Harris type II injury with open fracture-luxation approached by bridging Type II External Skeletal Fixation (ESF) done by senior surgeon of Lakhimpur kheri "Dr. Saurabh Singhai". Fracture reduction by restoring limb length, alignment, and rotation.

post operation,Animal is walking freely with gentle load on fractured limb.

Removal of ESF after radiographic union. Wishing him for speedy recovery.😊
