It's a happy Sunday at Ashari when our Chairman pays the babies a visit. Shri R.S. Goenka ji is the silent pillar whose wisdom and guidance has kept Ashari running when the darkest clouds threatened the NGO.

He was accompanied by another pillar, Dr. Moon Chattaraj - smothered by the furry babies she has helped keep alive when every professional would say it's fate would be otherwise - her support and faith remained unwavering.

We are as strong as our team - and in this, we are abundantly blessed 🧿❤️

A father's love is eternal.
Debjani remembered her baba with kindness towards over 1100 heads of cattle, 650 dogs and 80 cats on his Shradh 🙏🏻 so that his compassion burns bright through his daughter ❣️

Shoutout to a beautiful person who has made it an integral part of each day to respond to any local caregiver who rings her in distress, no matter where the neighborhood may be - and in turn has always reached out to Ashari to come and take in the case - no matter the distance or complexity.

Together, we take baby steps towards reducing suffering, one tail wag and nose boop at a time. 🧿

What she took home was more than a day at the hospital with family.

She shared a poignant letter with us that warmed our souls deeply.

Ashari, has, for each one of us: chairman, board members, volunteers, office and support staff alike - been a turning point in life.
Not one of us has walked out the same as when we walked through the gates of an institution that is bigger than the individual.

You don't come to Seva. It calls you.
And those of us blessed with an opportunity to serve the voiceless are just that - blessed.
Because we are but the vessel that the Universe channels it's healing through.
And all we can do is give thanks 🙏🏻 🧿

19 pickups in a span of 3 days with daily work unhampered deserves a standing ovation.
Our staff aren't just working professionals - they love and breathe the spirit of service, going above and beyond the call of duty for these animals in their care 🙏🏻

Dear family and friends of Ashari.
We are needing to repost this : the number of cases in our care are at max level and we want to always do right by those already undergoing treatment.
Until further notice, we will not be admitting any new cases 🙏🏻

It's imperative that we do our best by those already in our care.

It is for this reason that we have decided to temporarily halt all cases other than suspected Distemper, for the next week. 🐶 💕
