Calcutta Canine Clinic established by Prof Dr Dipak De in 1975.Since then the clinic strives to offer the complete medical services for your pet. We believe in keeping pets healthy using preventative measures such as annual exams and vaccinations, spaying and neutering,orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery geriatric work ups for older pets, ultra-sonography, and dental health care. We also have

our in-house Veterinary Laboratory where we do the basic tests required to diagnosis your pet's illness, from regular blood, urine, stool and skin scrapping tests. We are Calcutta's 1st clinic with all modern veterinary facilities under one roof and we plan to introduce many other advanced technology in future.

✨ Successful Emergency Cesarean Section – Labrador with Uterine Inertia ✨

A Labrador presented at our clinic with uterine inertia (absence of labor pain). Ultrasound confirmed all fetuses were alive, but with an empty pelvic canal and distended abdomen, an elective cesarean section was initially advised.

The family hoped to wait for a day and Despite close monitoring, the patient later developed severe nausea, extreme vomiting, and urine incontinence, indicating maternal distress. In that moment of crisis, our team, under the expert hands of Prof. Dr. Dipak Kumar De, decided on an emergency cesarean section was performed.

All pre-operative pathological investigations were conducted in-house, and the surgery proceeded successfully. Outcome:
✅ 12 healthy live puppies delivered
✅ Mother in stable and healthy condition post-op

Today, we proudly discharged the mother and her twelve little miracles—safe, healthy, and ready to begin their new journey with their loving family..
