The fly is called pegion louse fly, scientific name Pseudolynchia canariensis, This vector carries a protozoa organisms , haemoproteus columbae which causes pegion malaria in pegion, although this oraganisms affects different type birds, The symptoms of pegion malaria are 1) Torticollis of neck or wery neck
2) Greenish diarrhea or whitish diarrhea
3) Eye discharges,
4) Emaciation, lethergy of bird
5) Anaenia, anorexia
6) Death
