Greetings from Dum Dum Pashupati animal welfare society!

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the most neglected animals on the streets of India. Through your generous donation, we are able to plan our projects with confidence and ensure that the animals in need get necessary medical attention.

As per the new Income Tax rules, we need to furnish your details to the Income Tax department latest by 31st May i.e. immediately following the financial year in which the donation was received. To issue a Tax Exemption Certificate (10BE), it is mandatory for us to share your complete details:

>First Name
>Last Name
>Pan Number
>Complete Address with the Income Tax department.
>Total amount donated to paws in last year and breakup of the same.

We urge you to update these with us at the earliest.

We keep getting one liner emails like these requesting help.

Please understand that it is impossible for anyone to help based on such scant information. Due to our limited budget, we cannot afford to have a staff calling back everyone and listening to their problems.

Request all to please include as much details as possible (location, condition of the animal, photos etc) while writing to us for help. We shall make every effort to either help ourselves or redirect to the nearest facility.

We have an exciting piece of news to share with our patrons & well wishers.

PAWS is now registered with the Govt of India for undertaking CSR activities.
We can now accept CSR funds from companies willing to donate towards social causes.

Requesting help from all of you so that we may get some donations from corporate CSR funds.

So many unwanted pups and juvenile dogs admitted to the PAWS shelter after the breeding season is over, due to accidents, cruelty, illnesses and being orphaned.

Please sterilize your local dogs before the next breeding season to improve their quality of life & prevent unwanted pups

Look at the two adorable pups of Baduri, the mamma dog who was rescued a couple of months back from Badu road, Madhyamgram.

The white one is female while the black & tan one is male.

These 2 healthy puppies are born in captivity, and they'll never learn how to fend for themselves if left on the open roads.
Sooner or later Baduri's facial wounds will heal completely (we shall sterilize her before that), and we'll release her in her original location.
As it stands now, the puppies will have to be released with her, which will put them at great risk.
Neither can we hold them back at the shelter, since every day they'll be exposed to multiple types of infections which will ultimately catch up with them.
An animal hospital can never be a forever home for a healthy dog.

Request every one to please consider adopting these 2 puppies. We'll do the deworming & vaccination for the first year free of cost for adopters. Save these 2 healthy puppies from otherwise certain death.
