✅ Choose: ✔️ Heat-treated Aspen wood shavings ✔️ Dust-free, pet-safe bedding
❌ Avoid: 🚫 Cedar wood shavings 🚫 Untreated pine shavings
These can release aromatic oils (phenols) that may irritate your hamster's respiratory system and skin.
💡 Pro Tip: Provide at least 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) of bedding so your hamster can dig, tunnel, and behave naturally.
