At Woofs and Purr Pet Crèche, located in Newtown, we believe in maintaining a high standard of pet care where **pets always come first**. We are not just a boarding facility; we are a safe and loving second home for dogs and cats.
We never compromise with the needs, comfort, health, or emotional well-being of the pets under our care.
# # # Our Care Standards
Before accepting any pet for boarding, we carefully verify:
* Vaccination records
* Parasite prevention protocols
* Health and safety requirements
This is **non-negotiable**, as the safety of every pet staying with us is our first priority.
We provide healthy, freshly prepared meals that include seasonal vegetables, eggs, curd boiled chicken or fish, healthy fats, and pet-safe herbs such as coriander leaves — all cooked **without spices**, keeping their nutritional needs in mind. However, if a pet is already on a specific diet or kibble, pet parents are welcome to provide it.
During summer, air conditioning is maintained almost throughout the day for the comfort of the pets, except briefly during cleaning hours. Lighting, fans, hygiene, and comfort are always maintained according to each pet’s needs.
# # # Boarding Protocols & Timings
At Woofs and Purr we maintain clear protocols to ensure smooth functioning for everyone.
Our standard check-in and check-out timings are:
**9:00 AM to 12:00 PM**
A boarding day is considered **27 hours**, not just 24 hours. For example:
If you check in your pet at **9:00 AM**, your check-out time extends until **12:00 PM the following day**.
This additional 3-hour flexibility is intentionally provided to accommodate road delays, traffic, or unexpected hassles while picking up pets.
We always communicate our policies in advance. If adjustments are needed, we are open to discussion **through prior communication**. We do try to accommodate pet parent's needs wherever possible but as a pet parent do not assume and plan your timing as per your convenience, as we will not be held responsible to offer you any free hours!!
# # # About Charges & Food
Our boarding charges include:
* Accommodation
* Food preparation
* Feeding schedules
* Medication administration
* Hygiene maintenance
* Cleaning of urine and f***s
* Monitoring and supervision
* Grooming assistance if needed
* Emotional care and handling
If a pet parent chooses to provide their own kibble or food, it does **not reduce the boarding charge**, because food is already included in the package. The service and care remain the same.
# # # Why Timings & Charges Matter
Just like hotels for humans have strict check-in and check-out timings, pet boarding facilities must also function systematically.
When a boarding slot is booked, that space is reserved exclusively for your pet. Whether a pet stays for the full duration or not, the accommodation, staffing, cleaning, monitoring, and responsibility remain constant.
Caring for pets is not “doing nothing" (if so then leave them with anybody random) It is an extremely responsible job that involves experience, constant supervision, feeding, cleaning, medication, emotional handling, risk and ensuring their safety.
At Woofs and Purr, pets are not kept locked behind bars unnecessarily. They are given freedom, care, comfort, and a home-like environment — and that responsibility comes with effort, time, and operational costs.
# # # A Message to Pet Parents
We deeply respect every loving pet parent and value mutual trust. We never force anyone to choose us, nor do we believe in aggressive advertising.
In fact, Woofs and purr has grown through trust, word of mouth, and genuine care for animals. We actively support community animals, have adopted rescues, and continue to work with love for dogs and cats welfare genuinely, in our area even all community dogs are well fed maintained sterilised vaccinated by us.
If our system, standards, or charges do not align with your preferences, you are absolutely free to choose another facility — and we respect that choice. We do not convince, request to avail our service to anyone we do not require, as action speaks louder!
However, agreeing to our policies beforehand and then creating disputes during payment or pick-up is unfair to the effort, care, and commitment we provide.
**We strongly believe in respectful and transparent communication. At Woofs and Purr, we are always open to requests, discussions, and reasonable adjustments when communicated in advance. However, any flexibility regarding timings, policies, or special considerations remains entirely at our discretion. Such decisions are personal, situational, and may vary from case to case, pet parent to pet parent, depending on circumstances, mutual understanding, and feasibility. We request all pet parents to respect our boundaries, just as we respect your concerns and your pet’s needs. Mutual respect must always work both ways.**
