It is monsoon season, and due to flooding and waterlogging, snakes tend to move out of their natural hiding places in search of safer shelter. Also, since the monsoon is a breeding season for some snake species, snake sightings are more likely during this time. If you spot a snake in a dangerous situation inside or around your house, you may immediately contact trained and licensed SARPA volunteers authorized by the Forest Department.
