History : A three years old beagle came with a history of cherry eye ( prolapse of third eye lid)...

As function of third eye lid is to formation of tear to moist eye which prevent from infection...

Treatment :After proper diagnosis our Dr.Rohit Raj went for surgery ( Pocket method )..Pocekt method is the only option to treat this kind of case....

There are two type of surgery in such case..

1) Amputation of third eye lid... but draw back of this kind of surgery is dry eye in old age

2) Pocket method : By doing this method..no complications like dry eye in any age....

Some pet owners visited our shops recently for regular check up so while speaking to them we found that they have been using Bravecto for treatment of fleas and ticks for their fur babies but it's highly recommended by various vets that Bravecto shouldn't be used on our fur babies though it works great but it comes with a consequence that many of our pet owners might not be aware of as it causes internal damage and this damage comes into pictures only when things gets worse

So instead of using meds like Bravecto we should use spray/powders that are available in the market or your pet shops because the problems are external and should be treated externally.....

So i am bringing this into your notice as recently many cases came to our clinic who were using Bravecto and the condition of the dogs were terrible as it cannot be detected in the early stages bt only when things gets worse...
