This World Environment Day, AWCS brought communities together through our Palm to Forest initiative, transforming hope into action, one seed ball at a time.
Elderly women, children, and nature lovers came together to carefully craft seed balls using native tree seeds and nourishing soil mixtures. Each seed ball carries the potential to become a tree, restore habitat, and support countless forms of life.
These seed balls will be distributed to people traveling on long journeys, encouraging them to disperse them across barren and degraded landscapes. Over time, these small acts can help create diverse forests that provide food, shelter, and safe passage for both migratory and resident wildlife species.
Biodiversity restoration is not the responsibility of a few. It is a movement that grows stronger when communities participate. Through Palm to Forest, AWCS is creating opportunities for every individual to become a part of nature’s recovery.
A handful of soil today can become a thriving forest tomorrow.
Join us. Make seed balls. Restore biodiversity. Help bring life back to the land.
