We had a good time with the enthusiastic members of the Nagtibba Trek with Tails on Trails speaking about how to handle their pets while on a trek , things to keep in mind while trekking from the dogs perspective , things to do and not to do the pre opus night , their fitness and the perfect mindset .

One of the most common behaviour worry we come across is when pet parents complain that their puppy is chewing up furniture and causing mayhem at home ; most of them link this to teething or Play biting . While this might be legit to a small extent ; this issue when ignored often takes the form or unwanted behaviour problems like stubbornness and doing what the dog wishes to , all the time . It's not long before this stubbornness will take the ugly face of aggression (which could have been avoided in the first place).

We advise our clients to opt for a day birding facility . Which means that their dog spends anywhere between 8 to 10 hours here with us. Exhausts his / her physical energy need as well the much needed mental stimulation that we keep focusing on , every time we address a behaviour concern .

"Eva" and "Kv" who are energy bombs at home spending their day with us at The Alfa 11 ground .

While establishing a relationship with your dog, Trust comes right on top of the Pre-Requisite list. And how you build trust, is through doing things together. A simple exercise like swimming or going for a walk ; can call for a great trust building exercise. When you expose your dog to different situations and YOU are the constant factor in the equation, thats when he will learn about trust, and about trusting you.
