Rescue, rehab, rehome abandoned dogs, sick/ injured streeties, or motherless pups, in Nilgiris district. Founded by Anjali Mehta and Priyanka Bandyopadhyay.

Empower & inspire fellow humans to respect & become better guardians of all animals around us. We rescue, rehab, and rehome abandoned, sick, or injured homeless dogs/ cats and motherless puppies/ kittens in Nilgiris district. We treat, spay/ neuter, and vaccinate all our rescues, and also facilitate the same for as many streeties as possible. We educate children & adults about adopting instead of buying from largely illicit puppy-mills, spaying/neutering pets & avoid unwanted pregnancies, being responsible pet guardians, and dispelling myths & misconceptions about indies, mixed breeds, and purebreeds.

New admits at Wagtail, and what it takes. 🐾

Our newest dogs arrived with severe infections, maggots, and malnutrition. With vet care, good food, and time, they’re healing.

Some need months to recover fully, and some will always have a home with us. We’re at full capacity, and your sponsorships and donations fund the care behind every recovery.

Sponsor, donate, or foster. Link in bio.

URGENT: 5 puppies near Ketti need fosters or adopters. 🚨🐾

Their mother was taken by a leopard, and the pups are only 30 to 40 days old. A kind local is keeping them sheltered and fed for now, but they can’t survive on their own for long.

Even one or two puppies per person makes the difference. Foster volunteers get medical and food support from us, and we’ll arrange their adoption.

To foster or adopt, DM or call us now.
