For visiting times/more info, please see sections below. Funded entirely by donations from visitors and local residents, the ARC rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes dogs, cats and other animals we find on the streets. Over the years the ARC has vaccinated and sterilise

d thousands of dogs and animals helping eradicate rabies in the local area. We hold regular vet surgeries and conducts regular sweeps of the area for stray animals

What Hershey however really needs is a home where she can be loved and part of a family. She is five years old, vaccinated and sterilised. Loves cuddles and walks and is an all round lovely dog!

Well the pups that were left at the entrance to Animal Rescue Centre - ARC, South Goa yesterday are looking a little better now.

They have had a bath and as you can see from the water it was very much needed.

Just another example of where your money goes when you donate via one of the various options we have or purchase items from our wish list. We are now in monsoon season so visitors are low which means donations reduce significantly.

We all love a happy ending don't we?

Well it could not be happier for Bob! He was brought back to Animal Rescue Centre - ARC, South Goa as his family were moving away. Bob had a bit of a man crush on our very own Anup and it appears the feeling was mutual, as Anup decided to adopt Bob and he now lives happily with him and his family.

I think if we were writing the last chapter of a book this is the chapter we would love to write. No-one is happier than Bob as you can see! 😍🥰😘

This is what was greeted by the staff as they arrived at Animal Rescue Centre - ARC, South Goa this morning. Three puppies dumped in a box with no information about them nor where their mum may be.🥲

They are now safe and will be well looked after however this is why your donations are so important.

Due to staff shortages and the need to monsoon proof arc will be suspending the ABC ( animal birth control) programme for one month
We will concentrate on clinic and stray injury cases and the shelter animals while preparing for monsoon which has hit in last few days unexpectedly.

ADOPTION ALERT - Shadow 🔔

This absolutely adorable boy has ended up at ARC in not the best condition, his fur was matted and he is looking quite thin.

Shadow is safe and cared for now, but he longs for attention and he’s so loving he needs a family of his own.

We will do our best to bring him back to life, we’ve cut mats out of his fur but he does need feeding up.

Please buy some wet cat and kitten food from our wishlist for our feline friends.

We have quite a lot of kittens at the moment come and check them out to adopt ❤️🐱
