Sheroo left us today after a difficult few days. We are so grateful for the memories and love he has left us with. To know his full story, read on and scroll for cute photos too.
He came to us on new year's Eve 2023. Had been dumped by a breeder, was wounded, so skinny, and looked sad. Within a few weeks, his personality started to show! He started to gain weight, he enjoyed walks, loved hanging out with people, and generally took up space (literally too!) very nicely! We bought big-sized pathrams for him to eat out of, else he would slobber everywhere :). His walks down 5th main always made heads turn.
He and another rescue of ours, Pepper, went to a lovely home in Feb this year. They bonded so well with each other and the family. Life has other plans when things seem too good to be true. Unfortunate circumstances resulted in his health suddenly failing. The family chose to bring him back to us for treatment. He spent the last three days with us, was cared for so well by our vets and attenders, and his special volunteer friend, and neighbours. But it was all too much.
He said goodbye this afternoon. He looked peaceful... at home maybe.
Thank you for the memories, you big, goofy fellow. We are so glad you are and always will be on the All Paws Community banner -- the cutest, biggest, and most gentle model we have ever had. We all love you so so much.
