בעקבות התפרצות מחלת הכלבת באזורנו, אנו ממליצות לוודא שחיסוני חיות המחמד שלכם בתוקף, ולהקפיד על חיסון כלבת לחתולים היוצאים מחוץ לבית.
כלבת היא מחלה קטלנית המסוכנת הן לבעלי חיים והן לבני אדם, והחיסון הוא אמצעי ההגנה היעיל ביותר.
חשוב לנו להדגיש:
הדבקה בכלבת מתרחשת אך ורק בעקבות נשיכה או מגע עם רוק של בעל חיים חולה בשלבים האחרונים של המחלה.
זו הסיבה לחובת תצפית והסגר נשיכה של 10 ימים.
בכל מצב אחר – אין חשש להדבקה.
עם זאת, יש לגלות אחריות, להקפיד שחיות מחמד היוצאות החוצה יהיו מחוסנות בחיסון תקף, ולהיות ערניים לנשיכות ולבעלי חיים משוטטים.

Following a rabies outbreak in our area, we strongly recommend making sure your pets’ rabies vaccinations are up to date, with special emphasis on vaccinating cats that go outdoors.
Rabies is a fatal disease that poses a serious risk to both animals and humans, and vaccination is the most effective means of protection.
It is important for to clarify that Rabies transmission occurs only through a bite or contact with the saliva of an animal infected with rabies during the final stages of the disease.
This is the reason for the mandatory 10-day bite observation and quarantine period.
In all other situations, there is no risk of infection.
Nevertheless, responsibility is essential—please ensure that pets who spend time outdoors are properly vaccinated, and watch out for bites and stray animals.
