שואלים אותנו לגבי הצבעים המותרים לבולדוגים צרפתיים.

הנה מה שכתוב בתקן הגזע FCI

"צבע: חום, מנומר או לא, עם או בלי כתמים לבנים.
צבעי פרווה:
מנומר: פרווה חומה מכוסה לרוחב בנימור שחור כהה ויוצר אפקט 'מנומר נמר', חזק. כתמי נימור אינם חייבים לכסות את צבע הבסיס החום.
יכולה להיות מסכה שחורה.
מותרים כתמים מעטים בלבן.

חום: פרווה (בגוונים*) מחום בהיר לחום כהה, לפעמים (עם כתמי*) צבע חיוור יותר, עם או ללא מסכה שחורה, אם כי עדיפים כלבים בעלי מסכה.
לעיתים (פרווה חומה) מלווה בכתמים לבנים מוגבלים.

פרווה עם כתים לבנים:
עם כתמים לבנים (בכיסוי*) בינוני או מלא: מה שנקרא
'פיאד', כתמים מפוזרים באופן אידיאלי על כל הכלב. מספר כתמים על העור מותרים.
חום עם כתמים לבנים בכיסוי בינוני או מלא: מה שנקרא
'חום לבן', הכתמים מפוזרים באופן אידיאלי על פני הכלב. כמה כתמי עור נסבלים.

האף הוא תמיד שחור, בכל צבעי הפרווה, אף פעם לא חום או כחול.

כלבים לבנים(לחלוטין*) בתנאי שקצה העפעפיים והאף - שחור - מתקבלים, אך לא מורשים לגידול, בגלל סכנת חירשות.

גודל ומשקל:
גובה בשכמות: זכרים: 27–35 ס"מ. נקבות: 24–32 ס"מ.
סטיה של 1 ס"מ מעל ומתחת לתקן נסבלת.

משקל:
זכרים: 9–14 ק"ג.
נקבות: 8-13 ק"ג.
500 גרם יותר מהמשקל הסטנדרטי מותר, כאשר הכלב בעל מראה אופייני.

פסילה בהקשר לצבעי הפרווה:
צבע לא בהתאם למה שנקבע בסעיף סטנדרטי, כלומר שחור, שחור עם סימני חום (שחור-חום) וכל דילולי השחור עם או בלי כתמים בלבן.
