Since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East, air logistics across the region have been significantly disrupted—deeply affecting our operations.
Our activity dropped to roughly 40% of normal levels, right at the beginning of March—traditionally the start of our peak season. The impact has been substantial.
At the same time, we’ve been facing sharp increases in air freight rates and fuel surcharges, adding further pressure—especially when we stand behind 15 dedicated breeders who rely on us.
While similar disruptions have affected shipments from other parts of the world that transit through the region, this time, shared challenges bring little comfort.
And yet, difficult periods sometimes create unexpected opportunities.
After weeks of persistence, negotiations, and relentless effort, we succeeded in securing special approvals for a limited number of flights to Europe and the United States.
This resulted in the strongest sales week in our company’s history.
It didn’t come easy.
Constant flight changes, last-minute cancellations, repeated approvals, ongoing adjustments—intense pressure, long hours, and a tremendous amount of effort behind the scenes.
But despite it all, we held steady and delivered.
Even so, we were unable to supply all of our customers—and for those we did, we couldn’t always meet the full demand.
To those we haven’t reached yet—
we haven’t forgotten you.
We are doing everything we can to reach each and every one of you, and our team is available 24/7 for any question or support you may need.
The reality is that one strong week does not offset the challenges of an entire month. The situation remains complex.
But there is, at least, a sense that we are moving toward better days.
And through all of this, none of it would have been possible without you.
