AS THE 'ELITE' SALE SEASON BEGINS, A WARNING TO BREEDERS. IF YOU HAVE TO GIVE YOUR HORSE TO SOMEONE TO PRODUCE FOR YOU....BE CAREFUL WHO YOU CHOOSE. I HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF GIVING 2 HORSES TO A PRODUCER WHO TRIED TO RIP ME OFF. WITH THE HELP OF HIS 'BUDDIES', HE BOUGHT MY TWO HORSES AT A KNOCK-DOWN PRICE. HE TOLD ME MY HORSES WERE AS FOLLOWS.1..THAT LAD MAKING A NOISE ( DESPITE THE VET GIVING HIM A FULL CLEAN CERT.) 2. HE IS CRAZY AND 70CM IS HIS LIMIT.!!. ''WOULDNT BE GOOD ENOUGH TO EVEN HUNT...ONLY A ''' PROJECT HORSE '' I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT THAT IS A SAMPLE OF HIS 'PROFESSIONAL OPINION'
I DISCOVERED HE HAD X-RAY'D MY HORSES AT HIS OWN EXPENSE. -- CROOK---. MY HORSES WERE SOLD WITHIN WEEKS AT A HUGE PROFIT FOR HIM AND HIS CRONIES.
Notice at the beginning of this post I write 'tried'. I employed a solicitor and took legal action. I won.

Our first excursion to Cavan Horse Sales proved a good move..Daniel,s homebred 4 yr old gelding by Trumps Warrior, dam by Lord Noble achieved 2nd highest price in the horse section and most important is gone to a wonderful new home where he will get every chance to shine...Good luck with him Andrew Hazeltine.
