Does your cat hate to be brushed? Start off gently when they are relaxed. Don’t brush too hard, start off with light brush strokes so it feels like they are being petted. If they have enough, stop and do it again the following day. We want to make it as relaxing as possible. Can help with hairballs, matted fur, distribution of oils.

Poppet & Moonshine

Most cats that stay at the cattery are shy for the first few days. Nothing to worry about, it takes time for them to get used to their new surroundings, scents and other cats. Some cats settle immediately, others take a bit longer. These two are a great example. Poppet took a bit longer than her brother, but in the end she settled in her home away from home 🏠 🫶

What preparing a cabin for your cat involves ⬇️

• Cleaning cat flap and window
They love to press their noses against
the window
• Sweep and Mop
• Hoover
• Set up new bedding, litter, food and water

Takes much longer than two minutes but I love when a cabin is fresh, ready to welcome new cats.

Also I’m rather surprised I got the finger snap pretty spot on (not much editing was needed)
