Hello... I'm a bat... I don't suck blood and I don't want to get stuck in your hair.
If I accidentally walk into your house,
please don't hit me with sticks or brooms, it really hurts and I'm very scared.
It was an accident, I didn't want to scare you. If I land, I may not be able to get up and I need your help. Just use a towel to get me out and I'll fly right away, I promise. I eat mosquitoes and many other insects. Our houses are being demolished for other buildings and we only have a few places to shelter. so if I fly into your house, turn off the lights, leave the outside light on and leave the door open, I'll be out in a heartbeat.
Be a human, I want to live too..

🥰 Our water babies 🥰
We have the 5 little puppies safely in our care. They’ve had a nice bath, have full tummies & are now tucked up for the night. We will be looking for two separate foster homes for this precious little litter. A foster home for 2 of them together & we know it’s a big ask….. but another foster home for the remaining three, as they need the comfort of one another at present. For now though we extend a very gentle welcome to them to Dogs In Distress🥰

Tail docking (cutting off the pig's tail) is routinely done without any anesthesia or pain relief. After tail docking, piglets display clear signs of pain and distress, including attempting to escape and struggle, squeal, and clamping what's left of their tails between their hind legs.

This is done to prevent tail biting; a behavior that emerges *because* of cramped, crowded, and stressful environments that don't allow natural enrichment behaviors.
Humans cause the problem, and "fix" it by inflicting pain.
