** 🌞Summer 2025 🌞**
We are all getting very excited to reopen for the upcoming Summer Season. With lots of familiar faces, both horse and human to welcome you back for a summer of fun and Pony Camp frolics, we simply cannot wait!

🐴All going to plan - the Centre will reopen the week commencing 22nd of June. We will make updates on social channels closer to the time.

Our ponies are much loved and in high demand, so once they're booked for a trek, that’s it – we’re full! We hate disappointing anyone, so please do book early to avoid missing out on your trek or Pony Camp.

We have a selection of ponies available for loan over the winter

Friendly ponies who love to be pampered

Jake , Samson and Innish would be ideal for children who are nervous or have learning disabilities, they are great therapy ponies. Perfect for beginner/novice

Shadow would be better with a companion pony/horse. And would be more of a novice horse rather than beginner

Friday Evening at the National Park, Ballycroy

Calling all Night Owls 🦉! Next Friday, 30th of August, 7:30-10 PM, join the Night Owl crew (ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Award Finalists) for an evening of workshops exploring topics such as: the Difference between Cold and Warm Light 💡🕯, Biodiversity at Night 🦇🦭🐦🐸🦊🦡🦔, Astronomy and Importance of Stars to People ✨💫⭐️, Staying Safe at Night 🦺 🌠, Importance/Dangers/Environmental Impact of Fire at Night 🔥, and Various Games for Night-Time Fun 🎲♟. The Night Owls will be perched at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre, , Mayo Dark Sky Park.

If you are walking your dog on the beach, please be respectful of other beach users. So when your dog chases the horse riders and upsets the horses causing a rider to fall off, at least check how they are and not run off !!
