We’re incredibly excited to introduce the world-class judging panel for Madra Mania 2026!

📅 Join us on 10th & 11th October 2026 at SETU Arena, Waterford, for an unforgettable weekend of competition, education, shopping, and networking with groomers from across Ireland and beyond.

With years of experience, international accolades, and a passion for education, these four industry professionals will be bringing their expertise, knowledge, and keen eye for detail to this year’s competition.

✨ Karen Hogan – Fresh from being crowned Irish Groomer of the Year 2025, Karen is one of Ireland’s most accomplished competition groomers and an inspiration to professionals across the country.

✨ Kim Chen – An internationally recognised grooming professional celebrated for precision, artistry, and innovation. Kim’s experience as both a competitor and judge brings a global perspective to the competition ring.

✨ Georgia Ashton Fuller – An internationally recognised multi-award-winning groomer, two-time Asian Groomer of the Year, BBC Pooch Perfect finalist, and highly respected educator from South Wales. Georgia is renowned for her exceptional sc******ng skills, creative styling, and passion for helping groomers grow.

✨ Jo Silke – A respected international judge and educator whose wealth of grooming knowledge, technical expertise, and commitment to raising industry standards have made her a familiar face at competitions and seminars around the world.

Whether you’re stepping into the ring for the first time or competing for a championship title, you’ll be judged by some of the very best in the industry this year in Waterford!

📢 IPDGA Annual General Meeting 2026 📢

Join us on Sunday, July 5th 12:00pm at Treacys West County Hotel, Ennis, Co. Clare for the IPDGA’s Annual General Meeting.

This is your opportunity to have your voice heard, raise any concerns, share ideas, and help shape the future direction of the Association and the grooming industry in Ireland.

Can’t make it in person? No problem!
The AGM will also be live streamed, allowing members from across the country to take part. The livestream link will be posted to members on the morning of the meeting, so please keep an eye on our social media streams!

We would also encourage any members interested in becoming more involved to consider putting their name forward for a committee position. Joining the committee is the best way to have direct input into the decisions, initiatives, and positive changes that affect our Association and the wider grooming community. We have just received a private message and wanted to confirm this with you all.

The IPDGA 30th Anniversary Celebration which was scheduled for both Ennis and Swords has been postponed. Information regarding this was previously shared back in March via email and Facebook.

We hope to be able to celebrate this milestone with you all in person in the near future, however all previous arrangements for the event will no longer be going ahead.
