When training turns into reality! On the 4th January we were training when three young lads visiting the area went off exploring forgetting where they were supposed to meet their parents. Thankfully we were already in the vicinity and lent a hand. After a brief search with our team the lads were located. Smiles all round 😊 they were even happier when they realised they hadn’t missed their sausage lunch! Great Job by the team!

Pro-Active Paws Dog Boots is sponsoring Fhinisc, who is to be a community search dog. She will be available for the community to call on immediately, should someone go missing, just like they would call out their neighbours. As well as Fhinisc, Branna is being sponsored as a community search dog. She is Fhinisc's sister.

Hi! I'm Fhinisc. I was born on 30th April 2013. My mummy is Decies Dodge by Studebaker and my daddy is Eastdale Kayne. They're English, but I've moved to Ireland. My sister Branna has come too. My owner is Elizabeth and she says I'm going to be a search dog (she also says she'll do the typing for me). Branna belongs to Judy (who is Elizabeth's sister) It seems a long way to go before I'll be a search dog!
