So I had a wonderful 2 day drop ins with the amazing 4 musketeers,

nela (red setter) who loves to sitting on my lap I found out she only sits on one other person lap. She a total love bug and very smart girl.

Hunter (whippet) amazing Lil pup loves cuddles and treats tends to make you go to him for pets but an absolute sweetheart and when he gets the zommies he like a tornado spinning in circles.

Coco (black kitty) this Lil guy loves to body slam me for pets and he loves to play he was there both days I dropped in and will yell at me when I don't give him treats fast enough.

Nala (fluffy kitty) today was the only day I saw her as she was off on her adventures, she will actively have a full blown meow conversation with me today was funny when she saw me she went uh oh and when she relised it was me she chirped and came in for pets she a very shy girl but very very sweet.

These four babies make me relise why I love this job I get to cuddle fur babies and make sure there taken care of when there parents are away or at work.

🎆 HELPING OUR FURRY FRIENDS SURVIVE FIREWORK SEASON 🎆

As firework season approaches, the bright flashes and loud bangs can be incredibly scary for our pets and myself included. halloween can be very difficult for our pets, the elderly and many on the autistic spectrum such as myself. Since their safety and comfort are always my top priorities as well as my own, here are a few simple ways you can help keep them calm and secure at home:

🏡 Secure the Fortress
* Keep all windows, doors, and cat flaps locked tight.
* Double-check that your pet’s microchip details and ID tags are up to date just in case they panic and bolt.

🌅 Shift Your Routine
* Walk dogs strictly during daylight hours before the noise begins. (I will be ensuring all our afternoon walks finish up nice and early!)
* Feed them and let them out for a final toilet break before dusk.

🤫 Mask the Sights & Sounds
* Close all curtains and blinds before dark to block out the sudden flashes.
* Turn on the TV, radio, or a white noise machine to help drown out the heavy bangs.
* Create a cosy "den" in a quiet room with their favourite blankets and a long-lasting chew or puzzle toy.

🤍 Be a Calm Companion
* Stay relaxed—pets read our body language!
* Comfort them if they seek it, but let them hide if they prefer to isolate themselves. Never punish them for anxious behaviour or indoor accidents.
Outdoor rabbits or guinea pigs? Remember to bring their hutches into a secure garage or indoors, and give them extra bedding to burrow into!

This weekend I also did 8 drop in visits with the amazing nela (Red Setter) hunter (whippet) I refer to them as the firecracker because they were just full of joy and puppy energy

They also had two cats nala(fluffy) and coco (black) these guys apertly don't like people that much so it was an honour to get body slammed by coco and the purr machine going with nala who was nervous of me the first time i met her by the last day she was cuddling up to me and playing tag with my fingers. I did get screamed at for the treat tax on multiple occasions and I was supervised when washing the dishes and getting fresh water for everyone. I can't wait to see what the future holds for these bands of misfits 😻🐕

So the last 4 days I was both dog sitting the amazing twiggy a lurcher who is the sweetest girl ever.even when she gets tangled up in the long line and cries for help. I spent Friday to Monday at there house and got so many puppy cuddles even cuddles in bed after she woke me up to have food. I can't wait to see her again in the future.

☀️ New Temperature PolicyI will no longer be walking any dogs when the temperature reaches 23°C or higher. The risk of heatstroke and burnt paws is simply too high, and I refuse to put your beloved pets at risk

Over the past two weeks, I have had the absolute pleasure of pet sitting Dougal. Due to the recent hot weather, we spent plenty of time playing safely indoors, though we managed to enjoy some lovely walks during the cooler periods. He is a wonderfully affectionate, goofy boy who loves cuddles (and playfully begging for a taste of my food!). I am going to miss him terribly when it is time to say goodbye.This week, I am also taking care of his feline brother, Tato. He is an incredibly sweet cat who keeps me on my toes with his clever escape attempts! Luckily, I am always three steps ahead of him. Here is to one more fantastic week together as the three musketeers! 🐾🐶🐱
