**Update... a fantastic woman called Katie has just collected our feathered friend and is on his way to kildare as we speak!

We have a little juvenile seagull in with us with a broken leg that needs to get to Kildare Animal Rescue for surgery and rehabilitation 🪶
We are looking for anyone that might be able to help with transportation from our clinic to kildare!

❗️Update! Biscuit is back home safe ❤️❤️

Biscuit is still missing from the Foxwood area of Waterford city, with possible sightings in the Ballybeg area. He is very much missed by his family so please keep an eye out for him and get in touch with any information. He is neutered and microchipped, and very distinctive with one green eye and one blue eye.

Once again, Whiskers & Purrs are running their neutering scheme!

Neutering is essential not only to prevent unwanted litters, but aids in population control, unwanted behaviours and disease prevention. Cats will be healthier and less likely to suffer from health problems including those later in life.

Time is very quickly running out to get an exemption certificate for any dog that is going to fall under the new XL Bully "type" ban.

Puppies and dogs not old enough for neutering yet will still require an exemption cert.

Please be aware that any dog that has the following features will likely need an exemption cert:
1. Slightly larger/more square appearance to the shape of its head
2. More muscled than the average dog
3. Above 19inches (female) or 20inches (male) in height

Examples include staffie x, pitbull x, mastiff x etc

*This will affect many more dogs than the typical XL Bully!!*

Exemptions certs need to be applied for BEFORE Feb 1st or your pet could be at risk.

If in doubt, please contact us and we will try to advise or contact the council directly

With time and patience and a dedicated owner, Florence is back where she belongs! 🥰🥳🐈 We are thrilled to have such a happy ending. Thank you to everyone for keeping an eye out for her too!!

Florence escaped her carrier outside the clinic today. Please keep an eye out for her, secure her if possible, and get in touch with any sightings.
