70% of cats show signs of gum disease by age three, and most owners never notice. 🐾

Cats are really good at hiding discomfort. Our Dental Care is a simple daily defence, helping to reduce gingivitis, tartar build-up and bacteria in the mouth. Sprinkle it on food, or mix it with water to make an ointment or toothpaste, with a free toothbrush in every pouch.

Meet Mason, and his owner Frank, who we caught up with at the Pet Expo! 🐾

Mason has been on Natural Vet Co for the last 12 months. Frank has noticed much less stiffness, and Mason loves it so much it's made mealtimes a highlight. Thank you for sharing, Frank! 💚

What is Holistic Veterinary Care? 🌿

I see it as two main concepts;

1. When an animal is healthy, Holistic Care is the preservation of this good health for as long as we can maintain that. Preventative care.
2. When an animal is sick, Holistic Care looks at that animal as a whole system, taking into account many internal and external factors that impact their health. Holistic Care is an unravelling of the illness, to get to the root cause of why they have became sick and supporting them back to their best health.

Many of us see our GP, then also turn to a herbalist or nutritionist for extra support. The same kind of care exists for pets. It looks at the whole animal, and it works alongside your vet, not instead of them.

📍The one supportive natural ingredient that every pet owner should know about: Green Lipped Mussel. 🌊

🩺💊Observing how this was used as a safe alternative to non steroidal anti-inflammatories whilst practicing in New Zealand, I decided to look into this a lot more when I returned home. In my research, I found that Green Lipped Mussel was available, but the doses and the quality of the Green Lipped Mussel available were not adequate.

🔬It took 6 months to find this quality of Green Lipped Mussel that makes this the best available on the market.
In our Green Lipped mussel tub, we provide your pet with a full fat, non-heat treated ground GLM. This means it retains all of it's rare omega-3, ETA, a powerful natural anti-inflammatory. Don't go for the cheaper option as it won't have the same affect.. This formulation is pure, has two high potency ingredients, and is an easy to give into their food as a powerful support for senior pets or pets with aches and pains.

🪸The organic Irish seaweed is a rich source of anti-oxidants which will support not only their mobility but their dental, skin, thyroid and metabolic health.

Simple but powerful and helps us keep them healthy for longer.

For cats and dogs.

CALM. Pet Remedy is a fast acting and powerful calming remedy that is simple to give and begins to ease their nerves within the first 24 to 48 hours of adding it into their food. The calming effect will also build over time with consistency and will reach maximal support after two to three weeks.

This is safe to give along side other medications, is suitable for cats and dogs and is safe to give longterm if needed. It is a natural formulation that I have seen work in clinical practice over and again. It won't sedate them or change their character, it will just ease restless nerves or reactions to stressful situations.
