It was a great weekend and we will be holding workshops in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on our page for more info.
We braved the weather and completed our three day scent detection instructions course in style.
Teamwork was at the top of the agenda and it’s the top ingredient for a class of this type.
We worked through k9 Detect and find Irelands steps for success programme, this is a success system that will not let you down.
Everyone including the dogs were tired by yesterday afternoon and to finish up we carried out some fun scent games.
Scent detection can be carried out just about anywhere and this is what this course is aimed at.
I love nothing more than searching the in the great outdoors with forestry being my favourite.
All of my courses are in person courses with hands on learning.
The maximum amount of participants that can attend this scent detection course at one time is six because it’s based on running classes with a maximum of six teams in attendance.
The new instructors have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience over the past three days.
They have lesson plans and they all had the opportunity to instruct each other yesterday morning.
Everyone handled different dogs throughout the weekend and worked at different levels.
