For the month of July, we have great deals on all core vaccine courses 😍💉

This is for pets that have never had vaccines before, or pets whose vaccines have lapsed. To restart a vaccine, your pet will need 2 vaccines, 3-4 weeks apart, but you only pay for one vaccine!

Plus, the more pets you bring to be vaccinated to the same appointment, the more money you get off!! 🤑

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) publishes guidelines on the vaccination of cats and dogs. Vets use this information to develop our practice protocols alongside knowledge of the diseases present in the local area. The WSAVA split vaccines into ‘core’ and ‘non-core’.

Core vaccines are the ones that all cats and dogs should receive after consideration of their lifestyle and geographic location. Non-core are vaccines recommended if the pet’s geographical location or lifestyle puts them at a higher risk of contracting an infection.
Core: Feline panleucopenia, feline rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus, feline leukaemia virus
Non-core: Rabies (only for travel outside of the Ireland)

🐾 Reminder for Pets on Repeat Medication 🐾

If your pet is receiving repeat medication, we require a veterinary check up every 6 months to refill your pet's prescription to ensure their treatment remains safe and effective.

Regular health checks allow us to:
✅ Make sure the medication is still working as intended.
✅Monitor your pet's overall health and wellbeing.
✅Identify any changes that may require adjustments to treatment.
✅Discuss any concerns you may have about your pet's condition

🩺 Please note some medication also require routine bloods to monitor organ functions and ensure medication continues to be safe for your pet.

🐾 Important Update: Repeat Prescription Requests 🐾

To Help us provide the best service for you and your pets, we kindly ask that all repeat prescription medications are ordered at least 24 hours in advance.

This allows our team to:

✅ Ensure your pet's medication is prepared and ready and for collection
✅Complete the necessary checks
✅Obtain veterinary authorisation, which is a legal requirement for every medication supplied

❗️Please note that if you arrive for repeat medication without pre-ordering and a vet is unavailable to authorise the prescription, we may only be able to provide up to one week supply until the medication can be reviewed and signed off.

Thank you for understanding and co-operation by ordering ahead, you will help us keep your pet's treatment running smoothly 🐶🐱🩵🩷
