❗️These 2 dogs need your help.❗️
Two weeks ago we were called about 2 Caucasian Shepherds. Their owner had died in his home 3 weeks prior to that. They were just sitting there waiting for him to return. It was heartbreaking to watch. Neighbours made a huge effort to bring them food and water. Some stayed for hours just talking to the dogs or playing music for them.
Every shelter they contacted said no to taking them in became of their size and indeed we did too for the same reason. We took them out of pity for their situation but we bit off more than we can chew. We are finding it difficult to manage them along with all the rest. They are brothers 3 years old. They have lived with their owner since they were 8 weeks old. They are grieving and very confused. Their breeder has declined to help. We have made a great many phone calls to those who know the breed and no one was in a position to help.
We need someone to take them. They are big heavy dogs with a guarding instinct and are not suitable as family pets. This post is our last hope of help coming from somewhere.
