October seed & bulb haul 😊 My little bit of growing is winding down for the year, once i get these 325 onions in somewhere 🤣

I treated myself to these Friday lunchtime & can't believe they arrived less than 24 hrs later on Saturday before lunch, .ie - talk about a fantastic service!

I've bought from this company a few times, their speed & customer service are second to none so I highly recommend them, a great selection year round & lots of native irish and also organic bits too.

Can't wait to plant all of these, they're all new varieties to me as I'm only new enough to growing, so planning ahead will mean I'm ready to go & also will hopefully have some very beautiful early flowers in spring too 🥰

Got to spend an afternoon at this gorgeous estate house & gardens recently. Kilruddery House is just outside Bray, Co. Wicklow & only a few minutes off the M50. It is stunning! Beautiful setting for a bite to eat, a coffee & an easy wander.

They have so much going on here it's an absolute credit to them!

Stunning Irish local crafts, homeware & a range of Irish producers & authors on display, that's without mentioning the food, which is👌

Farm to fork at its finest, fresh, seasonal and local in both The Grain Store (the more formal eatery) or the Pizza Shed or Farm Shop Cafe.

They have lots available to purchase in their Farm Shop too, it's a little farmers market 😊

If you have adventurous kiddies, they will have a blast at the woodland zip lining area Squirrel's Scramble (booking required), outdoors, breathing in all that gorgeous forest air for a couple of hours followed by some fresh, local food 🤩 Already being begged to go back again, that's a winner 😁

Ireland's vegetable growing industry is in crisis. The race to the bottom sees older growers leave the industry and no young growers replacing them. This threatens local and national food security. If we want our food to remain local, then we need to make some changes.
