It’s claimed that pet dogs are being stolen from homes in Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo, by gangs who then use the dogs for illegal animal fighting events, which are taking place in the region. The claim has been made by Tara Lafferty of the Animals in Donegal Aid Sanctuary

Chocolate CAN KILL DOGS!

Please do not feed your dogs any chocs or sweets - not even over Easter. How about a healthy special snack instead, like dried green tripe, blueberries or dried natural 100% chicken or beef strips? 🐾🐰🐾

If you have a puppy or adult dog with HIP DYSPLASIA (HD), this can be very upsetting news. However, there are several options how s/he may be helped – as soon as diagnosed – including weight management, restricted exercise and play times, specific remedial exercises to strengthen muscles and other soft tissues, targeted physiotherapy, pain medication, food supplements for joint health... and surgery in severe cases, which do not respond sufficiently to conservative treatment alone.
