Can't believe it's the end of another Summer month😭but I'm happy to see the back of July coz that month was CRAAzzy. Busier, fitter & more covered in hair than ever but got to spend lots of time with all these fabulous furballs walking, boarding, pet sitting, house calling & taxi-ing them all over town. Still 2 more months of silly season to go, bring on some sunshine🙏🌞🌞

How cute is Roxie in her ferry cabin this morning as she goes off on her travels for a year with her dads😍 Delighted to have had her stay last week for one last time this year, she'll be missed, especially by Daisy. Wishing them much fun on the new adventure🧡

Manic Mondays...from last weeks till today, a week back at work & it's been crazy busy. We had Odin with his new sister Riven join us, ole friends Charlie & Leonard, Gunner, CJ & his teddy, Roxie on her last hols for awhile, Riley back for her annual hols, ole girl Mitzie for a nite, Mr.Gryffin AND a visit from a promising dancer who did her twirls for the doggos🙊😍Lots of swimming, lots of sunbathing & lots of water!
Summer is back to back bookings until my next weekend off end of Sept so the diary is only open for last week in Oct, Nov & first 2 weeks in Dec 🙏🧡

If Death Takes Me First

If I die while my dog still lives, please - let them see my body. Let them press their nose to my still hand one last time, let them whimper their grief into my silent chest. They deserve to understand.

Dogs know death. They mourn. But disappearing without explanation? That's cruelty. That's abandonment. The confusion would haunt them - waiting, watching, wondering why I never came home.

I've known that ache of being left behind. I won't inflict it on the creature who loved me most purely. Let my death be real to them, so their love can find peace.

One final act of care: let them know you didn't choose to leave them.

Smudge & Jack are thoroughly enjoying their 6 week holiday, with 2 Mollys & Mickey. I am flat to the mat all month... away for Easter & only have May 17th to lunchtime 23rd left free.
