Hello Spring! That Winter weather wasn't too bad in comparison to previous ones🎉
January was a test of proper days off, less social media, less photo ops & I think it did me the world of good so the plan is to continue with the same for February 🙏🙏🙏

And that month was going so well...till yesterday. Heartbroken to announce our dear sweet friend Lexi joined her many friends over rainbow bridge last night🌈
After 9 whole years of fun & frolicks, much rolling in 💩 & getting herself in trouble, her recent health battle finally took its toll. Glad to have been able to see her at lunchtime, glad she was out for her last walk with us Tuesday & so glad the queen that she was was part of the crew for so long.
R.i.p sweet girl...say hi to all that you are reuniting with 🐶🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩🖤🖤🖤

Can everyone just take a minute to acknowledge the absolutely heartbreaking news of a fellow local dog minder, dog fanatic & animal advocate, has sadly passed away aged just 29 years old.
Hug your nearest & dearest, human & furball & appreciate everyday that you have. Don't waste it, be kind & live as if everyday is the best as you never know when its your last.

Set up a quiet, cosy area where your pet can retreat. Include their favourite bed, toys, and play some soothing music to help mask outside noise.

Bring pets inside before fireworks begin. Close windows and curtains to reduce both sound and flashes of light.

Wishing all my customers, family, friends & pooches thee very best wishes for 2026. Hoping to see normal schedule resume Friday but that all depends on the weather as snow due & icy weather warnings so we'll see🫣☃️❄️⛄️

From new girl Jess to new boy Buster, it's been a busy 10 days since I was off. Can't believe it's only 1 more sleep till Santa Paws arrives🙈that year flew. Thanking you, my amazing customers & fur babies for another wonderful year...the busiest on record(& yes, I say that every year but they just get busier!) Thanks for supporting my small business & trusting me with your pooches...for all the fabulous presents(Amira says thank you for all hers too!) We're spoilt! Like the last few years, instead of buying treats for your pets, I donated to Leitrim, Roscommon & this year, the Donkeys in yer name. Remember: adopt dont shop🐶🐱🐴
13 years going...we lost 13 amazing doggies & 1 lovely dog owner during 2025🖤

With Storm Bram promised to hit the country tomorrow, all walks are on a play it by ear basis at the moment. Friday was horrendous with no warnings & we had to abandon ship after 2nd walk so let's just see what the day brings. If we don't make it out, doggos can join other walks Wed, Thur or Fri. Batting down the hatches everyone & keep the fur babies safe inside🙏🥰

Last day of November has snuck up quickly🫣What a month it was. Golden oldies Bailey & Willow were back for a visit...newbies to town Pixie & Buddy for the weekend...Joeys new sister Belle on her 1st holiday...Coco on her holidays...3 bichons on 1 walk...2 bites from over stimulated ball lovers Travis & Gunner, then Gunner again in the woods🫤 Looking forward to a weekend off in 2 weeks to recharge before Christmas🎄🙏🥰

Introducing Casper, the 12 yr old mini bichon on his 1st holiday, he was wrecked after one day with us loonies🙈...& Lady, the 10 yr+ rescue who got our taxi to the vet. 2 sweethearts😍
November has been a gorgeous month...even getting pleated with hailstones today was fun❄️

The Government’s new Housing Action Plan aims to end blanket “no-pet” bans in rental agreements across Ireland.

Housing Minister James Browne pushed for the change, insisting that tenants, especially in social housing, should not be automatically banned from keeping pets.

Under the proposal, Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) will no longer be allowed to include a general “no pets” clause in tenancy agreements. Instead, landlords will be encouraged to assess pet requests individually, following a similar model recently introduced in the UK.

Animal charities have welcomed the move, noting that many renters have been forced to give up their pets in recent years due to strict housing rules.

Introducing Bonzo, the 10yr old cocker spaniel rescue that has brought joy to his owners lives after the loss of saluki Bill last year😍
Christmas is fast approaching, dunno how that year went by so fast but here we are again🙈🎄
I'm booked up for the main event, and for the run up to. Only dates left this year are Fri Dec 5th to lunchtime Fri 12th & Fri 19th to morning of 24th. No normal daily walkies from 24th to 29th just boarders.
