Purchased by Watkins Bloodstock at the Fasig Tipton Kentucky yearling sales, INDYGO CHILD notched up his third consecutive win at Pyatigorsk last Sunday.

Having previously won both the Group 2 Jockey Club and Elita Stakes he comfortably accounted for the Group 1 winning DACCI in the Jaseel Stakes over his preferred trip of 2400m. INDYGO CHILD rates among the best horses in Russia at this distance and connections will now look at the Coalminers Cup (Gr 1) as his next target in late August.

Multi Group Winners for Watkins Bloodstock Buys

Watkins Bloodstock purchases took centre stage at the recent Oaks Meeting in Nalchik, Russia.

Owned by Zaur Sekrekov, IFTIHAR (Iffraaj x Golden Ora) easily won the Group 1 Kabardino-Balkaria OAKS. Her dam was purchased privately by Watkins Bloodstock and sent to the successful stallion Iffraaj. IFTIHAR is now a multi Group winner of 4 races from 5 starts

The next race on the card, the Jockey Club Stakes Group 2, saw STORM ATTACK (Captain Rio ex Misty Mountain) win his 8th race and this 5 year old who was a Champion 2 year old has provided his owner Ibra Bekov with great success following his purchase by Watkins Bloodstock in the Goffs Sportsman Sale.

SUCCESS FOR WATKINS BLOODSTOCK PURCHASE IN DUBAI

MABROUKA a 3 year old daughter of leading first season sire SIR PRANCEALOT won her maiden at Meydan last Saturday. Tracking the leaders coming into the straight she was moved to the outside by jockey Sam Hitchcott and raced clear to comfortably take the MINA RASHID maiden over 1200m.

KARADAG SWOOPS TO GROUP 2 WIN

KARADAG (pictured as a yearling), an Irish bred son of Amadeus Wolf made it 3 wins from 4 starts when taking the GR2 Mile at Pyatigorsk, last weekend. Selected from the Irish National Stud yearling consignment at Goffs in 2014, this improving c**t swooped at the 400m pole to win by a convincing 3 lengths. He will now be aimed at another Group race on Super Derby day in September, also in Pyatigorsk.

There to witness his success were Tony, with the WATKINS BLOODSTOCK Russian representative Evgeny Kappushev.

CRACKING WEEKEND FOR WATKINS BLOODSTOCK PURCHASES....................

Third recently in the President's Cup (Gr1), STORM ATTACK (pic below) got back to winning ways when taking the GR2 JOCKEY CLUB STAKES over 2400m in Moscow last weekend. Breaking clear with the Group 1 winning TSENTURION the two were neck and neck a furlong from home before STORM ATTACK showed great determination to win by 2 lengths. Selected and purchased by Watkins Bloodstock at the Goffs 2013 Sportsman Sale this son of Captain Rio will probably be aimed at the Super Derby (Gr1) in October.

Former GR1 placed,TARGIM STAR, another Goffs purchase won a conditions race in Nalchik and will now look to score at Group level.

The weekend was rounded off when FLYING SPARK, a daughter of Intense Focus and purchased at Tattersalls Ireland, ran an eye-catching third in the Crtierium Stakes (Gr2) over 1000m in Moscow.

Watkins Bloodstock purchases continued their international successes when CANDY FLYER was a 5 length winner of the Group 1 Pyatigorsk Oaks in Russia last weekend. Selected at the Fasig Tipton 2015 Yearling Sales, this daughter of Twirling Candy is unbeaten and set for further big race targets

ARIF, purchased by Watkins Bloodstock won the Tattersalls Mile on Czech Derby day in Prague last weekend.

Selected from the HH Aga Khan draft at the Goffs February Sale, this son of NAYEF came with a sustained run on the outside of the field and, despite the jockey losing his whip, won in great style.

Tony & David were back buying for Clients again at the Ocala Breeders Breeze Up sale in California last week. After purchasing POLAR RIVER at this sale in 2015 their selections this year included this lovely filly by Santa Anita Derby winner Sydney's Candy.
