Happyhounds Boarding Kennels is located in the small parish of Rathfeigh, Co Meath serving Co Meath, Co Louth and Co Dublin.With only 18 kennels - personal one to one attention, security and cleanliness is a priority for all our doggy visitors.

Happy New Year!! and much happiness in 2026.

This year is going to be a little different in my kennels. These changes are:-

1) After having shoulder surgery recently I have reduced kennel capacity alot to only four kennels this year.

2. I will be not accepting new doggy guests this year. Only giving priority to repeated doggy customers.

3) Fees have gone up slightly with all dog breeds now priced at 25
euro a day.
4) I wont be accepting any stays longer than a week this year.

5) I am hoping to open from beginning of June till the end of September but this is not confirmed yet, but will be soon.

Sorry for any inconvenience that these changes may have caused, its mainly to help my recovery throughout the year as I am under surgeons orders!!!

Hi Everyone, The new opening and closing dates for 2025 are as follows:-
Open; Friday 11th April - Tuesday 6th May
Mon 19th May - Sun 5th October
Thursday 23rd October- Saturday 8th November.

I will be closed from Wed 7th May - Sun 18th May.
Sunday 6th October- Wednesday 22nd October
