Irish Guide Dogs marks 50 years of changing lives and is calling on Munster volunteers to become Puppy Raisers 🐶

Help raise a future Guide, Assistance, or Community Dog and make a real difference—perfect for families, retirees, and remote workers. Puppy Raisers are fully supported, with all food, vet care, and equipment provided.

For 50 years, Irish Guide Dogs has supported people with sight loss and families of children with autism—providing life-changing services free of charge.

Saw this guy months before he died. Such a shame.

Joseph Wachira comforts Sudan, the last male northern white rhino left on the planet, moments before he passed away at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy in northern Kenya.

Suffering from age-related complications, he died surrounded by the people who had cared for him.

With every extinction we suffer more than loss of ecosystem health. When we see ourselves as part of nature, we understand that saving nature is really about saving ourselves.

This photograph, ‘The Last Goodbye’, by Ami Vitale was highly commended in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award 2020.

Ami's hope is that Sudan’s legacy will serve as a catalyst to awaken humanity to this reality.
