Our gorgeous Wagyu is looking for a very special foster home, and this time we’re hoping to find an adult-only home or one with older teenage children.

Wagyu is a really sweet boy who has so much love to give. He’s good with other dogs and has so many lovely qualities, but like many dogs, he does have a few things he needs help with.

Wagyu can display some resource guarding in the home, particularly around items such as shoes. We would therefore love to find an experienced foster who understands this behaviour, or someone confident and willing to work with us to help him manage it safely.

We’re looking for understanding, patience and someone willing to give a boy a chance.

We would absolutely hate to see Wagyu lose his foster home and find himself back in kennels. He deserves stability, consistency and the opportunity to continue learning that home life can be wonderful.

🖤🐾 FOSTER APPEAL – COLLIE LOVERS, WE NEED YOU! 🐾🤍

There are so many collies coming into rescue at the moment, and sadly, they're often the ones who get overlooked when it comes to finding foster homes.

We have a real soft spot for these incredible dogs, and we'd love to find more people who share that love and understand what makes a collie a collie! ❤️

Intelligent, loyal, intuitive and wonderfully in tune with their people, collies are amazing little beings with so much love to give. But they're also a breed with particular needs, and sometimes a few quirks!

Whether it's chasing wheels, fixating on shadows, herding everything that moves or simply needing to know what everyone in the house is doing, collies can keep you on your toes!

They're not dogs who are generally happy to be left to entertain themselves all day. They thrive on companionship, mental stimulation, regular exercise and having someone around who understands them.

So, what are we looking for?

🐾 People with collie experience and, ideally, a good understanding of the collie breed.

🐾 Homes with children aged 8+.

🐾 Someone who is home for much of the day and can offer the companionship these dogs need.

🐾 People who enjoy walks, enrichment, training and keeping busy minds happy.

🐾 Patience, understanding and a willingness to help a dog settle, learn and flourish.

You don't need to be an expert , but having some knowledge of the breed and an appreciation of their needs is really important.

Why foster a collie?

Because behind those clever eyes and busy little brains is a dog who might simply need someone to give them a chance. A safe place to land. Someone to understand them. Someone to show them that life can be good.

Fostering doesn't just change the life of the dog in your home. It opens up a space for another dog who desperately needs our help.

We have so many collies who need that chance, and we'd love to hear from anyone who thinks they could offer one even a temporary home.

💙 ROLLIE NEEDS A HOME AWAY FROM KENNELS! 💙

Meet Rollie, our handsome Bulldog boy, approximately 3 years old.

Rollie is currently sitting in kennels, and we’d absolutely love to change that for him. He’s a great wee character who deserves the chance to swap kennel life for a comfy bed, home comforts and a family to call his own. 🥰

So far, Rollie has been good with other dogs and cats, which is lovely to see!

What we really need now is someone willing to open their home and give this boy a chance.

Fostering gives Rollie the opportunity to experience life outside kennels, settle into a home environment and show us just how wonderful he can be.

🥹❤️ AGATHA – BECAUSE IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO KNOW WHAT LOVE FEELS LIKE ❤️🥹

12/13 years old. A lifetime behind her, but hopefully some beautiful days still ahead. 🥺

Meet our lovely Agatha.

This girl has spent her entire life living outside, alone. She has always been the only dog, never knowing what it is like to share a home, a sofa or the everyday comforts that so many of us take for granted.

And it breaks our hearts to think that at 12/13 years old, she may never have known what it feels like to be someone’s companion in the truest sense.

We can’t change Agatha’s past. We can’t give her back the years she has spent alone, or rewrite the life she has known.

But we can change what comes next. ❤️

We want Agatha’s twilight years to be everything she has missed out on. A warm, cosy bed. A safe garden. A loving person to call her own. Someone who notices her, talks to her, makes a fuss of her and lets her know that she matters.

We want her to discover the simple pleasures of being a much-loved family member. To finally experience the comfort of a home and the security of knowing she isn’t alone anymore.

We aren’t asking for forever to be a lifetime. We are asking for someone to make whatever time she has left truly special.

Agatha deserves to know that she is loved. She deserves soft landings, gentle days and a retirement filled with kindness.

Could you be the person who shows Agatha that life can still be beautiful, even at 12/13 years old?

💙 WAGYU NEEDS A FOSTER HOME 💙

Our gorgeous boy Wagyu is looking for a special foster home while we continue to help him with his skin and get him feeling his very best.

Wagyu is a soft, sweet boy who deserves a chance to enjoy the comforts of home, a cosy bed and all the love and attention he can handle. ❤️

We would love to get him out of kennels and into a home environment where he can relax, settle and be part of a family.

A little about Wagyu:
🐾 Adult-only home or one with older teenage children.
🐾 Can live with other dogs.
🐾 Not cat tested.
🐾 Around 5 years old in November.
🐾 Needs a foster willing to support us while we work on his skin.

A little about his behaviour: Wagyu does have some resource-guarding tendencies in the home, particularly around items such as shoes. We would therefore prefer a foster with previous experience of resource guarding, or someone confident and competent in managing this behaviour and helping him make positive progress.

We want to be upfront about his needs so we can find the right placement and set everyone up for success.

We aren’t asking for forever, just someone willing to open their home and give this lovely boy a chance.

💔 DIGBY – ALL THIS LITTLE BOY HAS KNOWN IS HEARTBREAK. CAN WE PLEASE SHOW HIM SOMETHING DIFFERENT? 💔

Meet our wee Digby. A 4–5-year-old terrier who has sadly had what we can only describe as a terrible start in life.

Found straying, this little boy has clearly endured more than any dog should ever have to.

Parts of his lower lips are missing, consistent with what appear to be untreated hunting injuries. But perhaps the most heartbreaking thing of all is that Digby is completely blind.

We don’t know whether he was born with only one eye or lost it somewhere along the way. What we do know is that his remaining eye was so dry and neglected that it suffered irreversible damage. Sadly, he has now lost that too, although we suspect he had little or no sight in it for quite some time.

Just imagine being a little dog, straying alone, unable to see the world around you. 💔

Our hearts are absolutely broken for him.

We cannot change what Digby has been through, but we desperately want to change what happens next.

We want to find this special little boy a wonderful foster home where he can finally feel safe, where his body can heal, his confidence can grow and where he can discover what it means to be part of a family.

A warm bed, gentle hands, kind voices, a routine and someone who will give him the patience and understanding he needs.

FOSTER REQUIREMENTS:

🐾 Terrier experience essential/preferred.
🐾 Experience with rescue dogs and blind dogs would be hugely beneficial.
🐾 Could potentially live with a calm, respectful dog following a successful introduction. No boisterous dogs due to his lack of vision.
🐾 No cats or small furries. Given his suspected hunting background, this would not be appropriate.
🐾 Children aged 12+ while we allow him time to settle and assess how he copes.

We are looking for a 5-star home only for Digby. Someone who understands that blind doesn’t mean broken, that he may need a little extra patience and that he deserves the very best chance at a happy life.

This wee boy has already been let down enough.

Please, can someone step forward for Digby?

Let’s show him that life doesn’t have to be frightening, that humans can be kind and that he is finally safe.

He deserves to be loved, protected and cherished for the rest of his days.

Let’s make the next chapter of Digby’s life the one he should always have had. ❤️
