In 2026, the association marks its 30th anniversary, reflecting three decades of commitment to animal welfare and professional standards. IPDGA provides education, practical business guidance and advocacy for its members, while promoting the principle that animal welfare should never be a luxury.

Please be sensible - so many people walking their dogs and are totally oblivious to what’s actually happening on the other end of the lead till a crisis happens - as dogs pant they are losing moisture from their body , they can only lose so much moisture before they crash in a potentially fatal heat stress
