Water restrictions are being put in place this evening in parts of north Kerry in order to preserve supply. The areas affected include Ballyduff, Ballybunion, Moyvane and the surrounding areas. The supply will be restored gradually during Monday.

There are also restrictions in place until early morning in the greater Brosna area. Areas affected include Meenleitrim, Crag and Dooneen in Castleisland and Glencane, Ahane and Knockane in Brosna, along with areas around Headley's Bridge and the Brosna to Listowel road (the Cork Line).

Irish Water and Kerry County Council are working together to ensure the local water supply is sustained and appreciate your patience and cooperation
