🔷GOWRAN PARK🔷
Today we are in Gowran with two runners.

▪️DESIGNER CAILIN & PATRICK STREET run in the extended 1mile 1furlong 47-65 apprentices handicap at 5:05.
DESIGNER CAILIN was disappointing on her last start here however we possibly tried to make too much use of her early on in testing conditions. She’s in good form at home but will need to show more today to be in the mix. Keithen Kennedy rides.

PATRICK STREET hasn’t been out in a while as we’ve been waiting for an ease in the ground which we seem to have today. This lad is in fantastic form at home but will have to overcome a wide draw here. Hopeful of being in the shake up. Jack Kearney rides.

🔷LEOPARDSTOWN🔷
We are in Leopardstown with runner.

▪️J M’S JOY makes her debut in the 7furlong 2yo fillies maiden at 6:20. Joy is a lovely homebred filly by Elzaam out of a quirky but talented mare we trained called Kaitlins Joy. Joy isn’t unlike her mother in many ways and has plenty of character but seems to show a nice bit of ability thus far, all of her work at home and away has been improving all the time and she is ready to start. This seems to be a tidy enough maiden but we are hopeful that she can be competitive in things go her way. Wesley Joyce rides.

Today we are in Ballinrobe with one runner.

▪️INTEND goes in the 1mile 4furlongs 47-65 apprentice handicap at 7:40. Intend had a lovely run in Limerick where he got very tired in testing ground on his first start for a long time. He’s came on a a lot for the last day and we’ve been looking forward to running him however the ground just hasn’t been slow enough for him anywhere. He’s in great nick at home but this seems to be a strong contest so we are hopeful of good run. James Ryan rides.

🔷NAVAN🔷
Today we are in our local track with one runner.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY takes his chance in the 1mile 2furlongs apprentice handicap at 4:45. Explorer won in good fashion in Down Royal 3weeks ago. He received a 4lb rise in the weights which has put him out of the 47-65 bracket so we’ve had to step him up in class a bit but we think that will help as he likes to have a strong gallop to aim at. He’s been in good form since so we are hopeful of being in the mix in what looks a strong contest. Adam Caffrey rides.

🔷DUNDALK🔷
Today we are in Dundalk with one runner.

▪️BRUCE LIGHTNING goes in the 7furlong 3yo only handicap at 2:32. Bruce ran a lovely race in Cork on his reappearance where he behaved really well but just got tired. He’s came on a tonne for the run and is great form at home along with doing some lovely pieces of work. This seems to be wide open contest with plenty of unexposed horses in it which could be a danger now in handicap company but we are hopeful of a good run. Jack Kearney rides.

Today we head to leopardstown with one runner.

▪️SO MESSI goes in the 1mile 1furlong 47-65 handicap at 8:00. Messi was very disappointing in Tipperary the last day where he never looked as comfortable so we just put it down being too testing for his liking. Today we are back to a track that he likes on a much sounder surface. His work at home suggests that he has one of these races in his locker but things just need to go right for him. We will make use of his good draw and go forward. Hoping for a big run. James Ryan rides.

🔷Bellewstown 🔷
We head to one of our local tracks today with one runner.

▪️PETIT FUSEE takes her chance in the extended 7f 2 year old auction maiden at 4:25. Petit Fusee ran a lovely race in Roscommon, she was a bit green that day and took awhile to get going, but she would have learned plenty. She came out of the race very well and her work at home seems to be nice. We think she will get this trip well and if she handles this undulating track we are hopeful of her being in the mix. 🔷DOWN ROYAL🔷
We head up North today with one runner.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY take his chance in the 1mile 2furlongs 48-70 handicap at 2:40. Explorer ran very well when finishing 3rd in Navan 2weeks ago. He’s came out of that in really good shape and his work looks to be very nice so we are hopeful of another big run if he can overcome his wide draw. James Ryan rides.

🔷Navan & Punchestown🔷
Today we head to our local track with one and to Punchestown with one.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY goes to Navan for the 1mile 2furlong 47-65 handicap at 5:15. Explorer ran well in cork the last day finishing 6th where they probably just didn’t go hard enough for his stamina to come into play. He’s been in great form since so if things work out he should be in the mix. Jack Kearney rides.

▪️THE CORRECTION heads to Punchestown for the 2mile 1furlong bumper at 5:27. Correction hasn’t been seen since running a blinder here back in February 2023. He got a bit of a setback shortly after that and he had to have a bit of time on the sidelines. He’s been in great form since starting back and seems to be in good nick. This seems to be a competitive field so we’re just hoping for a nice run to get him back on track. Jack Martin rides.

🔷GOWRAN PARK🔷
Today we head to county Kilkenny with two runners.

▪️WHAT ADAAY & DESIGNER CAILIN both go in the 1mile 47-65 apprentices handicap at 2:35.
What Adaay was unfortunate in Roscommon the last day when her saddle slipped forward just before halfway. Cian thought she was in great form that day and although it was too early to tell where she would have finished he felt she was travelling really well. She’s been doing some very nice pieces of work at home and seems to be in great shape so hopefully she can be in the shakeup. Cian Horgan rides.

Designer Cailin ran ok here the last day but never really got into the race, in hindsight we probably didn’t make enough use of her in the early stages and she just stayed galloping all the way to the line. Today we will try and be positive on her as a strongly run mile is what she needs. We don’t have a fantastic draw so she will need to jump well but she’s in fantastic shape at home so if things go to plan for her she could be in the mix. Sean Bird rides.
