Another clever purchase… picked up for just 4,000gns at last year’s Tattersalls Guineas HIT Sale from Godolphin 💥

We’ve had plenty of luck with horses coming out of that system, and this lad might just be another one… 👀✨ First ever run today in the bumper at Down Royal — last race of the day — and both horse and jockey got plenty out of it 📈🐎 A lovely introduction and plenty to build on 💪

Massive credit to Marie Sullivan, who knows exactly the type of horse we like and is rarely wrong in her recommendations 🙌
Very lucky to have someone like her in our corner at the sales 🤝

A worthwhile spin down to Gowran Park today – and a special one at that. Every winner is important, but this one had that bit extra.

Picked out as a birthday present at the Tattersalls July Sale in 2024 for the yard’s biggest supporter, Prom Queen delivered the perfect return for Rita Shah – and didn’t she do it in style 💥

Safe to say that birthday present has paid for itself… and then some 😉

Another one on the board and the good run continues 🔥
Rising Sky gets the job done nicely at Dundalk, making it two winners in as many days for the yard.
Delighted for the owners, who are seeing things come together, this is their first winner and we are delighted to have them on board. Fair play to Patrick McGettigan also for a very tidy ride.
The team at home have her in great order and it’s nice to see that work paying off on the track.

Silent Guardian makes it count at Clonmel.
Back in the right company and with conditions to suit, he put it all together nicely and won well, travelling smoothly throughout and seeing it out the right way. It was good to see him relax and show what he’s capable of when things fall into place.
Delighted for the owners, who have only recently come into the horse — a great way to get started. And credit to Niall Almond for recommending him to us in the first place.
A good result for everyone involved and nice to have him back on track. 🐎🐎🐎

Thank you Rockstown Girl!! Great to have a winner today at Down Royal Racecourse. After a frustrating run of form it was super to see her getting back to winning ways. She got a super ride by James Smith who had her travelling sweetly throughout the race. Congratulations to all her connections. 🐎🐎🐎

James Smith rode a double at Down Royal when Rockstown Girl proved too good for the opposition in Division 1 of the Bluegrass Respire Handicap Hurdle over an extended two and a-half miles.

We are heartbroken to have to say goodbye to our dear friend Francie McGee.
Francie was a true friend of Anthony’s and a true friend of the yard. He was a valued member of the All Four Counties Syndicate and a proud co-owner of Familiar Dreams, who meant the world to him.

He became a well-known face around Irish racecourses, and he loved nothing better than heading racing with Anthony and giving a hand with the runners. Francie had worked in Shabra Stables back in his teens, so it was especially nice to have him back involved again, this time as an owner.

The day Familiar Dreams won at Punchestown was a special one, and the way Francie celebrated said it all — pure joy, pride and excitement. That was Francie to a tee. He loved his racing, loved the craic, and was always happiest in among it.

We were very lucky to share those days and memories with him, and even luckier to call him a friend.

Our thoughts are with Francie’s family and friends at this very sad time.

He will be greatly missed by everyone at the yard.

Rest in peace, Francie. 🕊️
