Adventure tails dog training

For beautiful Bella’s 3rd session she came to have a mooch around my garden. Most dogs would fly around checking everything out straight away, but for Bella it’s not that easy. More than likely she missed out on crucial socialisation and habituation when she was young causing her now to be very unsure of people and the world around her. She has ended up with the loveliest home and people who she feels safe with.
Over the last few sessions we’ve been working on giving her a safe space for when visitors come and building her confidence.
For her session in my garden, she was unsure at first but we went at her pace. She slowly explored and sniffed everything. We allowed her to make her own choices and did some confidence building exercises. She booped my hand for treats and was comfortable to have me around which was so lovely to see❤️

Last class for life skills 1 this morning.
Ollie took part will all his enthusiasm as he always
does😁
Little Finn attended class instead of his big brother Sammy today to see what all the fuss was about, he approved, especially the rewards for working hard😊

My brain got a right workout for the 1st class of life skills 1, as it was delivered in English and German🙌🏻

Collie/Terrier Ollie was full of beans and long legged Sammy decided the grass area was the place to be.
Look forward to next Saturday for class 2

Congratulations to Bailey, Joe, Izzy and the humans for completing the life skills 1 course👏🏻🎉
Tried my best getting a group photo and this was the best one out of 12 pictures😁 Pics of Izzy and Joe, no pic of Bailey as she was just a blur🤣
They will move on to the Life skills 2 course in July where they will level up their skills around distractions, including on a walk and learn some cool tricks.

Met the beautiful girl Emmi a few weeks ago. She has such a friendly nature, just like her family.
Emmi’s training plan included recall, touch, leave it, breed specific outlets and a few other bits.
Once again it was so lovely to see another family, kids included, get involved with the training. If everyone is on the same page, it’s a whole lot easier to make progress👏🏻
