Vets for Cats Veterinary house calls and health checks for cats in Dublin area. Julia loves cats, has genuine interest in treatment of cats and empathy with their owners.

Vets for Cats is a home visiting veterinary service exclusively for cats in the greater Dublin area. The service is developed for cats, who do not like travelling to the vets, and also for their owners who would rather avoid the stress that this can entail. The service is run by veterinary surgeon Julia Ivanova, a registered member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London and a
member

of International Society of Feline Medicine, and so she regularly receives the latest information on treatment and management of diseases in cats. Julia is also registered with The Veterinary Council of Ireland and works in St Francis Dispensary Charity Clinic in Dublin 8.

A beautiful Poppy does not like her soft coat brushed. We had to give her a lyon haircut to save Poppy's home from her hair sticking to everything and everyone. Sadly the effect of grooming will only last for about 3 months. Poppy can surprise all the family and friends with her new fabulous look for now 😍

Gorgeous Kuna needed the hair around her bum tidied up. Like most of cats, Kuna hates her rear end touched. Light sedation helps to sort out that difficulty, so cats like Kuna, can be easily clipped and cleaned up. 😀

Our Masha came to St Francis Vets today to have her blood tests and a heart scan done.
We cleaned her teeth as well, while she was in the clinic.
There were no major changes with the heart disease detected today, and even some improvement with the kidney function on the heart medication.
It seems as we will have our Masha for another good while 😀
